BOB is a new American play based on the true story of one Rhode Island family’s experience with mental illness and the United States healthcare system. BOB is a true story of true struggle – of budget cuts and red tape, abuse and neglect, surprising heroes and unexpected villains – that presents a complicated look at healthcare in the United States.
Sue Samuels will be hosting the evening, and her dancers will perform the trio "Listen."
BOB will be presented at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex at 312 W 36th St, 1st Floor, NYC. For more information about the show, click HERE.
Jazz Roots will perform "The Swing is the Thing" in the Peridance Faculty Showcase on Saturday August 17th at 8.30pm and Sunday August 18th at 2.30pm. There will be live singing! Click HERE for information and tickets.

The evening will be a feast of Classic Jazz, including Jazz Roots Dance Company's showpiece, "Papa Was a Rolling Stone". We will also perform, "It's About Time" a creative take on different time signatures, and theatrical pieces such as "Fly Me to the Moon", "Rat Pack" and "Fever". Two pieces never seen before will be premiered that night.
